Shivaleeka Oberoi and Abhishek Pathak got married yesterday. The wedding ceremony was held in Goa. Today, the actor and filmmaker shared their wedding pictures on Instagram, which included a candid shot of the groom kissing the bride’s cheek during the ceremony. Shivaleeka wore a red lehenga with heavy bridal jewelry to the wedding, while Abhishek wore a cream sherwani.
Abhishek is kissing Shivaleeka on the cheek as she blushes in the first wedding picture. The second is a candid shot of the bride and groom standing in front of a tree with white flower garlands and chandeliers hanging from it. In the photo, Shivaleeka was giggling as Abhishek held her. There was also a picture of the newlyweds posing for the camera with their hands folded and smiling.
The couple captioned their joint Instagram post, “You don’t find love, it finds you. It’s got a lot to do with destiny, fate, and what’s written in the stars. Last evening, February 9, 2023, surrounded by our loved ones, we got married in a place where our relationship blossomed. This will forever be the most magical moment of our lives! Abhishek and Shivaleeka met while working on Abhishek’s directorial debut, ‘Khuda Haafiz’ (2020). “It hasn’t been very long since we started seeing each other, but when something feels right, it’s right,” Shivaleeka said last year in an interview. Abhishek had already begun filming for ‘Drishyam 2.’ “Despite the constraints of the last two years, we found ways to spend time together. Our friends could see how good we were for each other… Today, many actresses are married, and their careers are thriving. Work and relationships are both important aspects of life that can coexist; Abhishek and I have discussed it as well. We’re both certain that our professional lives will not change because we’re getting married soon.”
Abhishek directed Ajay Devgn’s ‘Drishyam 2’ last year. The Hindi remake of the Malayalam film of the same name, starring Mohanlal, was a box office success. Shivaleeka was last seen in ‘Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha’ with Vidyut Jammwal (2022).
