Prior to the premiere of his eagerly anticipated movie, ‘Ponniyan Selvan: Part Two,’ superstar Jayaram recently travelled to the Sabarimala Temple with his wife. The pair could be seen holding hands and praying to God while dressed in all black. Jayaram shared a photo from his visit on Instagram as well.
In preparation for the release of his film, actor Jayaram, an Ayyappa devotee, visited the Sabarimala Temple today. Along with his wife, he went to the temple with Parvathy Jayaram, a former actress. Sharing the photo, he added the message “Swami sharanam,” which is an Ayyappa phrase that translates to “the only hope is Ayyappa.”
In the previous year, Jayaram and Jayam Ravi, who play the film’s titular character, visited Sabarimala Temple while the first part of ‘Ponniyin Selven’ was being promoted. Jayaram, on the other side, portrays Alwarkadiyan Nambi in the movie. Among others, the movie also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Lal, and Sobhita Dhulipal.
