‘Adipurush’, the upcoming mythological film, to release on June 16, 2023. The movie was the talk of the town due to its VFX and editing. The movie was originally scheduled to release by January 12, but the makers had to redo a lot of work after the backlash they faced. There are rumours that the makers had to invest 100 crores to redo everything.
The movie revolves around a modern portrayal of Ramayana, where Prabhas plays the role of Raghava(Rama), and Saif Ali Khan plays the role of Lankesh (Ravana). There were comments that Ravana resembled ‘Khilji’ in physical appearance.
The film is written and directed by Om Raut and Produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. The film was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. The movie stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles.
