Treating the fans once more, the Valimai actor was spotted taking a sweet selfie with his wife, Shalini. The two hugged while standing next to a car. These two spent times together in France when the romantic picture was taken. A recent private party held by the couple to celebrate Shalini’s birthday was captured on camera and posted online.
Shalini recently made her Instagram debut, for those who are unaware. Her husband appeared in the first photo she shared on the platform. Most likely taken a few days ago, the shot was taken during Shalini’s birthday celebration.
While filming Amarkalam in 1999, Ajith Kumar and Shalini fell in love. They were married in Chennai in April 2000, despite Ramesh Khanna’s advice to the Veeram actor not to wed Shalini. The couple welcomed a daughter in January 2008, which they named Anoushka. They welcomed their son Aadvik in March 2015, marking their return to parenthood.
Ajith Kumar is currently filming Thunivu, a film directed by H Vinoth. Along with Samuthirakani, Veera, John Kokken, Ajay, and Cibi Chandran playing crucial roles, the much-anticipated drama also stars Manju Warrier as the protagonist. Thunivu, which Boney Kapoor is funding, is expected to hit theatres during Pongal 2023.
Ajith Kumar will start filming his 62nd project as soon as Thunivu is completed. The film’s working title is “AK-62,” and Vignesh Shivan is directing the film. By January of the following year, the project, financed by the Lyca Productions banner, is scheduled to begin.
