Anoop Menon’s upcoming film ‘Thimingalavetta’ aka ‘Whaling’ has begun its shooting at a resort in Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram. The film is directed by Rakesh Gopan. It is produced by Sajimon under the banner of VMR Films. The film’s pooja was attended by Sajimon and K.G. Purushothaman, Jayan (Rajputa Outdoor Unit), Ronex Xavier, Arun Manohar, Kannan Athirappally, and Arun Manohar.Sajimon gave the switch-on karma, and Anoop Menon gave the first clap. The first scene was with Anoop Menon and Maya Menon.
Anoop Menon will be seen playing the role of Jayaraman, a youth leader who believes in a democratic bloc and has big dreams in the political arena. It is a perfect political satire film that tells the story of the capital city’s political events through quite humorous moments. Kalabhavan Shajohn and Baiju Santhosh are playing other important roles in the film.
Vijayaraghavan, Ramesh Pisharody, Maniyanpilla Raju, Nandu, Kottayam Ramesh, Balachandran Chullikkad, Bansi Mathew, Rajkumar, Manoj (KPAC), P.P. Kunjikannan, Unni Chittoor, and Mash (of Naa Thaan Case Kod fame) are also playing prominent roles in the movie.
