Apple has given a much-needed upgrade to its smart speaker HomePod almost after 5 years. The 2nd Gen HomePod offers advanced computational audio and support for immersive spatial audio tracks has been launched.
The new HomePod is powered by the S7 chip and features a custom- engineered high excursion woofer, built in bass EQ mic and five tweeters around the base. A powerful motor that drives diaphragm of 20mm can be also seen in HomePod smart speaker.
The 2nd Gen HomePod will be available from February 3rd and is expected with a price range under Rs33000. The speaker is available in white and midnight color options.
The device also comes with room sensing technology. HomePod recognizes sound reflections from surrounding surfaces and then adapts to sound in real time. Several smart features are also offered by the new HomePod. A new humidity sensor and built in temperature that can measure indoor environment will be also seen.
Apple promised in delivering incredible audio quality, enhanced siri capabilities and a safe secure smart home experience.
