Blackpink, a K-pop girl group, is now on its Born Pink global tour, stopping in cities like Chicago, London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and more from October 15, 2022, to June 21, 2023. The K-Pop group’s record label, YG Entertainment, stated that this tour will be the biggest ever for a single group worldwide. The K-Pop group released a full album in September along with two brand-new music videos.
Blackpink announced their comeback to North America in a six-second teaser on April 14th via their official Twitter account. They will also perform at Oracle Park in San Francisco and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. But the exact date and time of the shows are yet to be announced.
Fans can sign up for a Blink Membership at blackpinklive.com to receive notifications when the ticket becomes available. Additionally, members will have early access to presale tickets. The tickets won’t be available until two days from now.
Blackpink, the first female K-pop group to appear at the award presentation, gained popularity after their VMA performance. When it debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s global chart, the song “Born Pink” broke a record. Just the other day, Jisoo’s song “Flower” set a record for the biggest K-Pop artist Spotify debut. 25.3 million streams were protected by it.
When BlackPink made a reappearance last year, YG Entertainment said, “The combination of the two words, the colour that symbolises BlackPink, and the word poison, is strong.”
After almost two years, Blackpink makes a comeback with this tour. In October of 2020, they released their last album.
