Lisa of Blackpink is unstoppable when it comes to smashing records and making history in the music world. The Thai idol just set a record by being the first K-pop soloist to have her album ‘LALISA’ surpass 1 billion listens on Spotify.

Lisa achieved this astounding milestone with just two songs in 595 days, making her the first female K-pop act, along with BLACKPINK, to have an album surpass 1 billion listens on Spotify. Not only that, but she is the fastest K-pop act to surpass 1 billion Spotify streams across all credits, demonstrating her great appeal among music fans globally.

Lisa currently owns a total of 7 Guinness World Records, including the record for most YouTube music video views by a solo artist in 24 hours, with an amazing 73.6 million views for her solo debut, ‘LALISA.’ She was also the first solo K-pop winner of Best K-pop Video at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards and the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards.

Furthermore, BLACKPINK took home the award for Best Metaverse Performance with “Ready for Love” at the 2022 EMAs, giving the group a Guinness World Records distinction as the first winners of this category.
