‘Citadel,’ the upcoming high-stakes spy drama, has released a new, action-packed official trailer on Prime Video.
The groundbreaking global series premieres on April 28 and will be followed by new episodes every Friday until May 26. Citadel is executive produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and showrunner David Weil, and it stars Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci, and Lesley Manville. Citadel will be available in over 240 countries and territories around the world.
Citadel’s second action-packed trailer takes a closer look at the train crash that appears to be the end of the elite spy agency Citadel. Years later, the two mind-wiped secret agents have no recollection of their spy lives because their memories were erased by the crash. Mason may not recall much about his previous life as a spy, but he hasn’t forgotten Nadia. She, too, appears to be on the same page, telling him that she remembers everything. The first Citadel trailer showed Nadia confronting Mason and insisting that she is a spy before the two are attacked by an assailant.
Citadel will be available on Amazon Prime Video in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The new trailer looks impressive, with more action and drama.
Citadel is billed as an “Avengers-style spy show,” with spies from all over the world teaming up for the ultimate mission. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is collaborating with Varun Dhawan on the Indian adaptation of Citadel. Raj and DK are in charge of the Prime Video series. The filming is currently in progress.
