Here is another Vijay song that is becoming well-known, much like Arabic Kuthu (Beast) and Master Coming (Master). Atlee’s 2016 film Theri contained the song En Jeevan, which is now heard in the acclaimed worldwide online series Never Have I Ever.
The series is a coming-of-age comedy-drama about an Indian-American teen dealing with the difficulties of her PeVijay song from Theri, which gets featured in the hit international web series Never Have I Ever. It was created by The Office star and writer Mindy Kaling.
On June 8, the fourth and last season of this well-liked series, starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, was made available on an OTT platform. Fans were pleasantly delighted to learn that En Jeevan will appear in the show’s final episode (Episode 10).
We discover that the show’s production team contacted Chennai-based Think Music, the label that owns the rights to the Tamil song, back in November 2022!
Theri’s En Jeevan, composed by GV Prakash Kumar, features Samantha, who portrays the film’s primary female character, and stars Vijay. Veteran singer Hariharan, Saindhavi (GV Prakash’s wife), and Vaikom Vijayalakshmi sang the song.
