The Uttar Pradesh Police in Noida recovered a fake passport relating to Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a well-known Bollywood actress in the Indian film industry. Recently, news broke that the Guru actor’s fake passport had been recovered by Uttar Pradesh Police from three foreigners in Noida.
The Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested three foreigners based in Greater Noida for allegedly being involved in cyber fraud.
According to news agency PTI, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Greater Noida) Abhishek Verma stated on Friday that “three foreigners staying in Greater Noida have been arrested allegedly for being involved in cyber frauds and were found to have in their possession a fake passport made in the name of film star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.”
The police had opened an investigation after receiving a complaint from a retired Army colonel who had been duped out of Rs 1.81 crore.
The investigation into the case is currently underway. According to PTI, three suspects have been arrested so far, two from Nigeria and one from Ghana.
