Farhan Akhtar, the actor-singer, has announced that he will not be able to perform in Australia due to “unforeseen circumstances,” less than two days after performing in Pune. Over the weekend, his band, FarhanLive, was scheduled to perform in Sydney and Melbourne. He took to Instagram to inform his followers about the situation.

Farhan posted a note on Instagram with a broken heart emoji. It says, “To my fans in Australia, Due to unforeseen circumstances, our band, FarhanLive, has had to call off our Australia tour. We will not be able to travel to Sydney and Melbourne this coming weekend. Please believe me when I say that we share your disappointment. However, I do hope to come to your beautiful country in the near future and perform for you. With love, Farhan.”

Several of his fans voiced their displeasure in the comments section. “Damn!” wrote one fan. I was really looking forward to this! Omg sooooo disappointed,” wrote another. “This is not fair,” said another. Some also inquired about refunds and expressed dissatisfaction with the tickets and changes made for the show.”

Farhan was most recently seen in the 2021 film ‘Toofan,’ in which he played a boxer. Last year, he also appeared in the Hollywood web series ‘Ms. Marvel.’ He is now set to direct ‘Jee Le Zaraa,’ a film starring Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt, but no official date has been announced.
