Taapsee Pannu will co-star with Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki for the first time. The Hirani-directed film was announced a few months ago and is set to be released in 2023. While details about their respective roles are being kept under wraps, Taapsee has finally revealed in a media interview that she will be seen romancing King Khan in Dunki.
At the Red Sea International Film Festival, Shah Rukh Khan revealed a few specifics about Dunki, describing it as a lighthearted film. Taapsee responded to this as follows: “It’s a Raju Sir film, and it’s that endearing world. I’d be surprised if anyone wasn’t having a good time on that set.”
Gulshan Devaiah, who co-stars with Taapsee in Blurr, teased his co-star, saying, “She was very excited on Blurr’s set talking about the movie and the excitement surrounding it.”
Taapsee exclaimed in response to the tease, “If you get to romance Shah Rukh Khan in a Rajkumar Hirani film, I’ll play a supporting role… as well. What else do you desire from life?”
Taapsee Pannu has previously expressed her enthusiasm for Dunki. The actress was last seen in Blurr and has Woh Ladki Hai Kahan in the works, as well as an untitled film.
