‘Jailer’ is an upcoming Tamil action comedy movie, written and directed by Nelson, starring Rajanikanth in the lead role and featuring stars of various languages, including Mohanlal.
According to new reports, the release date of the movie has been changed. Earlier, it was announced that it would be released on April 14. But, Maniratnam’s film Ponniyin Selav 2′ will hit theatres on April 28. So, the release date of Jailer will be shifted to August 11, to avoid the clash between these movies. Also, as ‘Jailer’ has various stars lined up, the shooting may take longer.
