Jayaram, who played Nambi in the first part of Mani Ratnam’s magnum epic ‘Ponniyin Selvan,’ will reprise his role in the sequel, which is going to reach theatres on April 28.
Just one day before the film’s release, the makers released a video of the actor in this new look. Jayaram also revealed his look as ‘Kalamukhan’ in an Instagram post. “Check out this cool look as Kalamukhan from PS-2,” he said.
Though it appears that Kalamukhan is a mask, it is also possible that he is a different character entirely. Fans have been perplexed by his new appearance, given that he previously featured as the pleasing Nambi in Ponniyin Selvan Part 1. In the film, he also had a bald appearance.
ALWARKADIYAN NAMBI
There is a lot of excitement for the movie, which was released about seven months after the first one. The film stars a number of well-known actors, including Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, and Trisha.
