Jhanak Shukla, the popular child actor from shows like Karishma ka Karishma and Kal Ho Na Ho, is now engaged to her long-term boyfriend, Swapnil Suryawanshi. She shared several pictures of the roka ceremony on social media, making it official.
Jhanak captioned the photos she posted on Instagram, “Finally making it official! “Roka ho Gaya.” Swapnil, her long-term boyfriend, is a fitness trainer. Jhanak can be seen in the photos sitting with Swapnil at her home, their arms interlocked. Jhanak is dressed in a pink salwaar suit with a yellow dupatta.
The post’s comments section was flooded with messages of congratulations from celebrities and close friends. Many of Supriya Shukla’s co-stars, including Sriti Jha, Kanwar Dhillon, Mohit Hiranandani, and Avika Gor, sent her messages congratulating her and wishing her happiness.
Jhanak took a break from acting when she was 15 years old after bagging roles in Bollywood films. In an earlier interview, the actor stated that the show Karishma Ka Karishma had become so popular at the time that she was cast in Kal Ho Na Ho, a film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Saif Ali Khan. She then worked on the Hollywood film One Night with the King. She also stated that, despite becoming an actor, education was always her first priority, which is why she took a break from TV to focus on her studies instead. Jhanak also stated that her parents have always wanted her to complete her education before pursuing any profession in which she is interested. Jhanak left acting in the middle of her career to pursue her Masters in Archeology.
