John Abraham’s 50th birthday: fitness enthusiasts explain the secret to washboard abs

John Abraham, who will be seen in the upcoming film Pathaan, turned a year older today.

John Abraham is well-known not only for his sharp acting abilities, but also for his enthusiasm and dedication to staying fit. Today, as he turns 50, let us remember to value our physical and mental well-being, just as John Abraham did. Those who follow Bollywood news and developments are well aware that he is no less than the King of action films. Following commercial successes such as Madras Cafe, Batla House, and Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, he will next be seen in the action thriller Pathaan.

For generations, John Abraham and his chiselled body have been the talk of the town. His physique and good looks have won the hearts of many of his fans to date. In April this year, the Garam Masala actor spoke candidly with actor Shilpa Shetty about his fitness routine and said, “You can eat healthy if you think like that. You must be goal-driven. Diet and proper nutrition are the most important. Fitness, I believe and always say, is like a tripod. Good nutrition, exercise, and sleep. The tripod collapses if any of them are missing.”

In an interview with Shilpa on the show Shape of You, John revealed the secret to his chiselled physique and his’simple, farmer’s life. “I’m eating bajra, jowar, and nachni roti. Consume pearl millet, sorghum bread, and finger millet. Yes, it’s that easy. “That’s the life of a farmer,” he stated.

Continuing the conversation further, John highlighted that he believes that a “plant-based diet” will be the future and hopes to “replace all dairy products from my diet”.

“Over time, I’m attempting to replace all dairy products. I, for one, do not consume butter, cheese, or milk. And I’ve been avoiding (eating) eggs for a long time. I am not claiming to be a vegan or vegetarian, but I am considering it as a moral decision due to animal cruelty. “I’m trying to cut as much as I can,” the Attack actor explained.
