Tapori Sathya, a 43-year-old Kannada actor and director, passed away today. He died while getting treatment at a private hospital for kidney failure. He is reportedly survived by his mother, wife, and three daughters.
Satya’s mother, Rukamma, said to news channels, “Satya was in the hospital for a week in the ICU. He had always been devoted to films. Satya vowed to take care of me and my family, so we are in shock over his passing.”
The public will be able to pay a visit to Satya’s mortal remains at his residence in Banashankari. The last rites are expected to take place today.
In the Yogesh and Nanditha film ‘Nanda Love Nanditha,’ Tapori Sathya played the antagonist. When it was released in 2008, the movie was a box office smash. He has acted in over 30 films and has been seen in a supporting role in most of them. He had also directed a movie titled ‘Mela.’ He was preparing for his upcoming directorial film and had reportedly started the audition process and production.
