Karan Johar writes a heartfelt note for his mother, Hiroo Johar, on her 80th birthday

Karan Johar has written a note for his mother, Hiroo Johar, on her 80th birthday. He shared some pictures of himself with his mother on Instagram, quoting that she is his fashion police and has played an important role in raising his twins, Roohi and Yash Johar. He shared several pictures, ranging from her recent cake-cutting ceremony to his childhood pictures with her and his late filmmaker father, Yash Johar.

He captioned the pictures, “My brave and resilient mama turns 80 today…. She taught me how to love…how to stand for what I believe in … never apologise or justify myself if I was in the right… never pretend to be anyone I wasn’t …. She is as much my conscience as she is my fashion police …. Also the only person who i am still scared of… I love you mom to the planets and back …. I would never have been able to raise Roohi and Yash without you…..”

Malaika Arora, Ananya Panday, Tanishaa Mukerji, and Tusshar Kapoor all wished “Hiroo aunty” a happy birthday. “Happiest birthday to dearest Auntie, wishing her more love and great health,” Shilpa Shetty wrote. “Wishing aunty a beautiful birthday @karanjohar and great health and peace always,” Shamita Shetty wrote. “So nice,” a fan commented on his post. Every child should write a note like this to their mother. So touching. “Wishes on your mother’s birthday.”

Karan Johar is the only son of late Yash and Hiroo Johar. The filmmaker had his twins via surrogacy in 2017 and has been co-parenting them with his mother since then. He also named his daughter Roohi after rearranging his mother’s name. His son is named Yash Johar after his late father.

Karan is currently filming ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.’ He was in Kashmir for the final leg of the shoot. It will be released in theaters on July 28 and stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra.
