The ‘Adipurush’ filmmakers introduced a newly created motion poster starring Kriti Sanon on the occasion of Sita Navami. She portrays Janaki in the Om Raut film, which takes Sita from the Hindu epic Ramayana as inspiration. Kriti is depicted in the latest picture wearing a beige saree with a saffron dupatta over her hair.
With her teary eyes, Kriti portrays an extremely realistic Janaki. Jai Siya Ram can be heard playing in the background. The actress shared it with the caption, “The immortal chant, Jai Siya Ram. The noble story of Siya Ram.” New posters were released as well by the filmmakers on Ram Navami.
The film features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh in prominent roles. On June 13, the movie will have its international premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival 2023 in New York.
Director Om Raut previously stated, “Adipurush is not a film; it is an emotion, a sentiment! It is our idea of a narrative that connects with India itself. When I discovered that Adipurush had been chosen by the famous jury of one of the international film festivals that I had always wanted to attend as a student! The fact that we get to present a tale that has been deeply engrained in our culture on a large stage at the Tribeca Festival is extremely remarkable for me and the entire team. We can’t wait to see how the audience responds at the world premiere.”
Adipurush is expected to be released in theatres on June 16, 2023. The movie will also be shown in IMAX and 3D. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair.
