The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has been successfully operating budget-friendly tour services for some time now, offering travellers a scenic drive through winding roads and lush green forests, allowing them to enjoy blissful mistiness, fresh mountain air, and the soothing sound of streams flowing downstream, among other things. All of this at prices they can easily afford.
Thousands of individuals are now taking weekend excursions to relax with their families and spend valuable time with them, or to enjoy outings with friends.
The KSRTC offers inexpensive trip packages to most of the state’s famous tourist spots, such as the tour programme to Gavi.
The state transport agency provides such popular services from a variety of districts, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, and Ernakulam. The company is running similar tours from seven depots in the Alappuzha area alone this May. From Alappuzha alone, about 19 trips will be made to Gavi.

Visitors from the Malabar area, in addition to the southern districts, can use the KSRTC’s budget tour services. The first Gavi service from Kannur depot started at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 5th. The route will include stops at Kumily, Ramakkalmedu, Chellarkovil, Ottakathalameedu, Gavi, and Parunthumpara, among other places.
