Harish Pengan, an actor who was being treated for liver disease, has died. He had been receiving care at Ernakulam’s Amrita Hospital after being hospitalised for treatment of mild stomach discomfort when a liver illness was discovered. Even though his twin sister Sreeja was eager to donate her liver, the necessary procedure was expensive.
Friends and coworkers banded together to seek help in reaction to Harish’s severe condition in the intensive care unit. They disclosed that the medical professionals had stressed the urgent need for a liver transplant.
