Malayalam comedy actor Innocent got admitted due to a critical condition

Mollywood actor Innocent got hospitalized due to a critical condition related to a cancer relapse. The actor has always been vocal about his battle with cancer, and he even wrote a book about it called “Laughter in the Cancer Ward.”

Innocent is a well-known figure in the Malayalam film industry. He is well-known for his work as an actor, producer, playback singer, and active politician. The actor has won many hearts and a strong fan following for his unique acting style and for infusing his characters on screen with humor. The actor was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2012. With treatment, he was able to overcome the disease and return to work. It was recently reported that the actor was hospitalized last week due to a relapse of cancer. The actor was hospitalized after complaining about physical discomfort a week ago. He has been under the care of healthcare experts in a private hospital in Kochi since then, and he is responding to the treatment.

The actor, who was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Chalakudy constituency in 2014, has been instrumental in the establishment of cancer screening centers in several regions. He established mammogram treatment centers in Chalakudy, Perumbavoor, and Aluva after becoming an MP. The Malayalam acting community and the actor’s fans hope for his return.

The actor, who celebrated his 75th birthday this month, has won several prestigious awards in his career. In 2006, he won the Asianet Film Award for Best Actor in a Comic Role for Rasathanthram. He made his acting career debut with the movie Nrityashala, in 1972. Not just for his comic roles, the actor has won the hearts of audiences as a villain in many movies. Throughout his career, he oversaw several projects as a producer as well.
