“Vellari Pattanam,” starring Manju Warrier and Soubin Shahir, has released a trailer for the film. Filmmakers have already revealed that it will be released in theatres on March 24. Soubin Shahir will play the role of a politician in the film. The film is directed by a newcomer, Mahesh Vettiyar.
“Vellaripattanam” also stars Salim Kumar, Suresh Krishna, Krishna Shankar, Shabareesh Varma, Abhirami Bhargavan, Kottayam Ramesh, Mala Parvathy, Veena Nair, and Pramod Veliyanad, along with Manju Warrier and Soubin Shahir.
The script was co-written by journalist Sarath Krishna and director Mahesh Vettiyar.
‘Vellarikka Town’ was the original title of the film. However, director Manish Kurup has come forward to claim ownership of the name ‘Vellarikkapattanam.’ As a result, the title of the film was changed to ‘Vellari Pattanam.’
