Geeta Devi, the mother of Manoj Bajpayee, passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 80. The actor from Gangs of Wasseypur has offered his tribute on social media.
Earlier today, Manoj Bajpayee expressed his sorrow at the loss of his mother, Geeta Devi, who died on December 8, 2022, at the age of 80 in a New Delhi hospital, as reported by the news agency PTI. The publicist for The Family Man star confirmed the news of his mother’s passing in a formal statement, stating: “Geeta Devi was 80 years old, and she had been ill for the past 20 days.” Now, Manoj has written a lengthy letter in memory of his late mother.
He wrote: Calling her iron lady, “A tribute to an IRON LADY, my mother! That’s what I call her! A six-child mother and the wife of the most gentleman farmer! She protected her family from all the evil eyes and intentions of this unforgiving world and supported her husband in fulfilling every child’s needs while sacrificing her own dreams. She was an alpha woman who ruled her world with an unflinching eye! “I wish I could go back in time to see my mother grow into the amazing, strong-headed individual that she was!”
Manoj added that his mother’s numerous contributions to their lives will leave him forever grateful. “Her unconditional love and commitment were unparalleled. I have the courage to never give up because of her unfailing support during my difficult times. Her words of inspiration will live on in me forever, and I will share them with my children. I am a reflection of her,” he said.
Manoj claimed that his late mother instilled in him the importance of persevering through even the most trying situations and fighting till the sun goes down. “What we are now is a result of her hard work, sacrifices, and unselfish love. She is a lifelong friend who has supported me through every challenge. The entire family still receives guidance from your love and energy, MAI! We will always keep you and Babuji close to our hearts. Being raised by you has been such a blessing and an opportunity for me. Mai, until we next cross paths. On December 8th, Smt.
