Meera Jasmine is set to return to the Telugu film industry. The actress, who last appeared in a film in 2013, will make a comeback with the upcoming bilingual film ‘Vimanam.’ Yesterday, on the occasion of her 41st birthday, the film’s producers shared a photo of her to announce the big news.
Zee Studios, the film’s producers, took to Twitter and shared a poster to announce the actress’s return after a decade. “She’s back people!” read the tweet. Wishing Meera Jasmine, a very happy birthday. She will return to our screens in Vimanam after a decade. Our next bilingual Telugu-Tamil film is in collaboration with KK Creative Work. And we’re confident she’ll be better than ever.”

Meera made her film debut in 2001 with Lohithadas’ Soothradharan. She went on to star in a number of successful films in South Indian languages, earning her a reputation as one of the most bankable and notable actresses of the 2000s. Meera Jasmine rose to prominence after appearing in the Tamil film ‘Run,’ which was also dubbed in Telugu. She went on to star in films with popular actors and blockbusters such as Pawan Kalyan’s Gudumba Shankar, Sivaji’s Ammayi Bagundi, Ravi Teja’s Bhadra, and others.
