Megastar Mammootty’s latest film, ‘Kannur Squad,’ has wrapped up shooting. The shooting of the last schedule of the film ended in Wayanad. The Wayanad schedule was completed after the Kannur squad completed the Pune schedule. There was a 10-day schedule in Wayanad. A few scenes were also shot in Ernakulam. He completed the schedules and packed up for the film.
Kannur Squad is a crime drama and Mammootty reportedly plays the role of an ASI in the film. Shabareesh Varma, Azeez Nedumangad, Rony David, Deepak Parambol, Sajin Cherukayil, and Gibin Gopinath also play supporting roles in the film.
The film is being directed for the first time by cinematographer Roby Varghese Raj. The story is by Mohammed Shafi. Actor Ronnie David Raj and Muhammed Shafi have jointly written the script for the film. Muhammed Rahil is the cinematographer, and Praveen Prabhakar will be the editor. Sushin Shyam will be composing the music.
‘Kannur Squad’ was shot in Pune, Mumbai, Kannur, Kochi, Wayanad, Pala, and Athirappally. The film is produced under the banner of Mammootty Kampany.
