Mohanlal and Akshay Kumar appear to have had a great time at a recent wedding of Asianet director K.Madhavan son’s marriage function in Jaipur. Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to share a video from the celebrations, which showed him dancing in the baraat with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.
Akshay, who was dressed in a cream kurta and white pyjamas, danced to dhol beats with Mohanlal, who was dressed in a blush blue sherwani, white pants, and a cream pagdi. They tangled their feet and did some bhangra. Akshay and Mohanlal shared a warm hug after completing a full twirl while the groom and other members of the wedding party applauded.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Akshay wrote, “I’ll forever remember this dance with you @mohanlal Sir. Absolutely memorable moment.” The actors’ fans also left comments on the video. “Priyadarshan ke Do Anmol ratan,” commented a fan. Both Akshay and Mohanlal have acted in multiple films by acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan. “Two legends of Indian Cinema #AkshayKumar sir & #Mohanlal sir,” commented another fan. “Happiness is seeing your favourite actor smiling,” wrote another.
Mohanlal was also recently in Jaisalmer, reportedly filming for his cameo in Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailor.’ Earlier this week, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani were married in Jaisalmer. When the paparazzi ran into Mohanlal at the airport, they asked if he was part of the wedding. Mohanlal clearly said that he was not invited.
Later that day, however, he shared a photo with Karan Johar, who was present at the wedding. He took a photo with the director and captioned it, “Time well spent with Karan @karanjohar.” Mohanlal will next be seen in Ram, his next film with Jeethu Joseph.
Akshay will next be seen in Raj Mehta’s family comedy ‘Selfiee,’ alongside Emraan Hashmi, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Diana Penty. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 23, 2023. Moreover, he will appear in’ OMG 2′ and Ali Abbas Zafar’s action thriller film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,’ alongside actor Tiger Shroff.
