Malayalam superstar Mohanlal premiered the fifth season of the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss Season 5’ Malayalam yesterday. The host welcomed Reneesha Rahiman, Rinosh George, Cerena Ann Johnson, Sobha Viswanath, Sagar Surya, Vishnu Joshi, Angeline Mariya, Sree Devi Menon, Junaiz VP, Akhil Marar, Anjuz Rosh, Maneesha, Aniyan Midhun, Nadira Mehrin, Lachu Gram, Shiju Abdul Rasheed, Sruthi Lakshmi, and Gopika into the Bigg Boss house.
These 18 contestants will be locked in the Bigg Boss Malayalam house for 100 days, with no contact with the outside world.
The promo for Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 was enough to inflame the interest of the audience. The promo showed two female fans questioning Mohanlal about the new season. “Will there be another angry doctor (Dr. Robin featured last season) this season?” a girl asks. “What do you want to know?” says Mohanlal. The host then informs them that the fifth season of Bigg Boss Malayalam will feature original contestants and that it will be a fun and exciting show to watch.
The reality show’s set is located in Mumbai’s Film City. Omung Kumar, an art director and filmmaker, designed the Bigg Boss Malayalam house. Season 5 of Bigg Boss Malayalam will air on Asianet and stream on Disney Plus Hotstar.
