Jithin Raj’s ‘Pallotty 90’s Kids’ is based on the acclaimed short film ‘Pallotty.’ The film revolves around the bonding of two young boys, Unni and Kannan.
Sajid Yahiya, the actor-turned-filmmaker, is now producing ‘Pallotty 90’s Kids.’ The film, which stars Arjun Ashokan, Balu Varghese, and a slew of young children, is billed as a nostalgic, lighthearted entertainer. The producers have announced that it will be presented by acclaimed filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery. According to them, this is the first time Lijo has presented a film that he is not producing. Deepak Vasan wrote the screenplay and dialogue for the film.
The main characters in Pallotty 90’s Kids are Davinchi Santhosh and Neeraj Krishna. Along with playback singer Sreya Raghav, Abu Valayamkulam, Mariya Prince Antony, Ajeesha, and Uma, Saiju Kurup, Sudheesh Koppa, and Dinesh Panicker play pivotal roles.
Suhail Koya wrote the songs for Pallotty 90’s Kids, Kerala State Award winner Prakash Alex composed them and is also in charge of the background score, and Vinesh Banglan, a National Award winner, is in charge of the production design. Sharon Srinivas shot the film’s cinematography, and Rohith VS Variyath is the editor.
