Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, has earned 429.9 crore at the domestic box office in the first 12 days of its release. According to the production company, Yash Raj Films, the film has grossed $832.20 crore worldwide. Pathaan is directed by Siddharth Anand and stars Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana, and John Abraham in prominent roles.

On the second Sunday, the original Hindi version of the film alone grossed Rs. 27.5 crore in India (the 12th day of its release). The Hindi version of the film grossed 414.5 crore, while the dubbed versions in other languages grossed an additional 15.40 crore. By Sunday, the film had amassed a worldwide gross collection of $832.20 crores, with a domestic gross collection of $515 crores.

Pathaan has grossed 319 crores in overseas territories alone since its release on January 25. The cast and crew of the film recently held a press conference in Mumbai to celebrate the film’s massive box office success. They complimented each other’s work and discussed memorable scenes from the film. One of Deepika’s action sequences in Pathaan was dubbed “the sexiest fight scene” by Shah Rukh.

Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, establishes the tone for future crossover films in YRF’s’spy universe,’ which features secret agents such as Pathaan (Deepika and Shah Rukh’s new character), Tiger (Salman Khan and Katrina’s character from the Tiger franchise), and Kabir (Hrithik Roshan from War).

Pathaan marked Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen in a leading role after a four-year absence. He was most recently seen in Anand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ (2018), which also starred Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma and was a box office flop.
