The same impressive cast from PS 1 will be present in PS 2. The cast won’t change because the sequel picks up just where the previous one left off. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, and Jayam Ravi are among the prominent actors in PS 2’s ensemble cast. In addition to these, the action drama from this era also stars Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Lal, Kishore, Ashwin Kakumanu, and Aishwarya Lekshmi in supporting parts.
Karthi plays Vallavaraiyan Vanthiyathevan, the orphaned prince of the Vana clan, in the film. Fans were left wondering what would happen in the second part after Ponniyin Selvan returned to the Kingdom after the first part’s interesting conclusion. Will Karthi aka Vanthiyathevan and Jayam Ravi as Arulmozhi Varman make it to the kingdom, or will there be a tragedy? In the second section, all queries will be address.
The first segment ended abruptly since we also got a glimpse of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Oomai Rani. The second half is anticipated to focus more on her involvement. Arulmozhi Varman and his ascent to the position of Rajaraja Chola I, the greatest king of the Chola kingdom, will continue to be the main subject of the movie. It’s anticipated that the second portion will emphasize Vikram’s flashback tale as Aditya Karikalan. The follow-up will also depict the relationship between Aishwarya Rai’s Oomai Rani and Ponniyin Selvan. Well, a lot will happen in Ponniyin Selvan’s second instalment, and it promises to keep viewers glued to the screen.
