“Rainbow,” Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film, began with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad

Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film with debutant director Shantharuban is titled ‘Rainbow’. The film began production today in Hyderabad with a formal pooja ceremony, and filming will begin on April 7. Rashmika Mandanna’s new film received the first clap from Amala Akkineni.

Rashmika and Dev Mohan look elegant in their Indian attire, while Amala is wearing a printed kurta set in the pictures. Rashmika, the film’s protagonist, stated, “For the first time, I’m playing the protagonist in a story told from the perspective of a girl. I am beyond thrilled to bring this character to life for all of you. Rainbow is a movie that will both entertain and excite you. The audience’s journey with the girl is going to be a crazy ride, so buckle up everyone, this is going to be a fun ride.”

Dev Mohan, who will next be seen in Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s ‘Shaakuntalam,’ also plays an important role in the film. K. M. Bhaskaran is in charge of the camera, and Justin Prabhakaran is on board as a music composer. A national award-winning production designer, Banglan, is in charge of the production design.

“Rainbow will be a one-of-a-kind Telugu romantic fantasy story. Rashmika will give her most mature performance. The film will tug at your heartstrings while also enthralling you with its inventive storytelling, “says Shantharuban, the director.

The film is produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures.
