Rajinikanth recently travelled with his daughter, filmmaker Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, as well as composer AR Rahman and his son, AR Ameen. AR Ameen took to Instagram on Friday to share selfies of himself, Rahman, Rajinikanth, and Aishwarya Rai inside a private jet. Rajinikanth wore his usual white outfit for the trip, AR Rahman wore a maroon one, and Aishwaryaa wore a colourful ethnic dress.
Rajinikanth sat near the window in the first photo, while AR Rahman snapped a selfie next to him on the plane. Ameen stood behind them, smiling and posing for the camera. In the next photo, Aishwaryaa posed and stood next to Ameen before joining the trio. Ameen captioned the post, “This picture is too goatee (sign of the horns, rocket, and red heart emojis).”
Singer Harshdeep Kaur used heart-eye emojis, as did actor Ehan Bhat from 99 Songs (2021). “ThalaivARR,” one fan wrote. “Legends in one frame,” said another. “Two generations in a single frame,” one commenter wrote. “The legends look very cool,” one Instagram user commented.
Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai, and AR Rahman were recently spotted at an Andhra Pradesh dargah. Aishwarya and Rajinikanth also went to a temple. Several fan accounts shared photos and videos on Thursday. As they approached the dargah, people surrounded them with garlands. Rajinikanth also posed for photos with Aishwarya Rai inside a temple. They went to Tirupati and the Amin Bir Dargah in Kadapa, according to a fan.
Rajinikanth’s next film will be Jailer, an action-comedy drama. Aishwarya Rai, Ramya Krishnan, Shivarajkumar, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan also play important roles in the film. The project, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, has already begun filming. The film will be released in theatres on April 14, 2020.
