Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has unveiled the first-look poster for the movie Revolver Rita starring actor Keerthy Suresh. The Shaakuntalam star shared the first-look poster and the movie’s title on her Twitter account. I’m sending my best wishes to a few of my favourite folks, including @KeerthyOfficial @Jagadishbliss and Rita Enjoying this,” the caption stated. In the poster, Keerthy Suresh is pictured carrying a rifle in each hand while sporting a throwback look.
Keerthy Suresh can’t wait for her next Revolver Rita. The National Award-winning actress shared the title poster on social media as well as her post, writing, “Here is #RevolverRita’s debut image. I’m so pleased to share the news of my next voyage with @TheRoute and @PassionStudios_.”
K Chandru is the director and writer of Revolver Rita. The director, who is also a writer, contributed dialogue to Silambarasan TR’s Maanadu, a recent hit. K Chandru is the film’s writer and director. Maanaadu (2021), Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham (2013), and Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings are some of his best-known works (2016).
Jagadish Palanisamy and Sudhan Sundaram are the movie’s financiers. Editing is done by Praveen KL, and cinematography is by Dinesh Krishnan B. Stunts will be handled by Dhilip Subbarayan, and the art direction will be handled by Vinoth Rajkumar.
The movie’s specifics have not been made public. An intriguing fact is that the same title was previously used for a 1970 movie that starred well-known actresses like Vijayalalitha and Jothilakshmi in the key roles. Therefore, it is uncertain whether Keerthy Suresh is a remake or adaptation of a movie from the 1970s. The movie may, however, have some link to the original given the facts of the women-centric movie and the title poster. Let’s wait and see in the next days if it is real.
Raghu Thatha, which Suman Kumar wrote, directed, and is being produced by Hombale Films, is also being worked on by Keerthy Suresh. According to the movie’s poster, the plot will revolve upon Hindi imposition. The famous phrase “Ek gaon mein ek kisan raghu thatha” from K Bhagyaraj’s 1981 film, Indru Poi Naalai Vaa, served as the inspiration for the title.
The actress finished filming Nani’s role in Dasara, her upcoming Telugu film. Srikanth Odela, a novice, is the director of the film, which is billed as an action drama set in a rural area. Along with two pictures with the lead actor Nani, Keerthy Suresh also uploaded a gorgeous photo of herself dressed as her character Vennela from the movie to mark the end of production.
