The remake of Pushkar-Gayatri’s film of the same name, starring Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan, has been released on OTT seven months after its theatrical release. The gangster thriller centres around an encounter between expert officer Vikram, portrayed by Saif Ali, and prominent gangster Vedha (Hrithik Roshan).
Hrithik expressed his excitement at the online debut of Vikram Vedha in a statement, saying, “It has been a long 7-month wait, but I’m thrilled that Vikram Vedha will be streaming on JioCinema starting May 12th, 2023.” This nearly seems like a movie premiere, and I’m experiencing pre-release butterflies all over again.”
Vikram Vedha premiered in September of last year to excellent reviews. “The story itself is the main attraction. Vikram Vedha, despite its bristling guns and bloodied limbs, underpins its elegant murderous plot with a philosophical inquiry that has no clear answer,” one of the reviews says.
