Samantha Ruth Prabhu is preparing for the release of her new film, “Shaakuntalam.” While fans are eagerly awaiting the film, the actress teased it on her Instagram profile on Tuesday. Samantha shared a series of stunning monochrome pictures of herself posing in a thigh-high white slit outfit. Samantha captioned her pictures, “Let’s talk all things #Shaakuntalam.”.
Soon after the pictures were posted, fans took to the comments section to show their support for their favorite actress. While one of the users called her ‘Queen’, another person wrote ‘Beautiful’. “Oh my god, that’s incredible,” A third comment was read out loud.
Shaakuntalam, on the other hand, depicts the epic love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant from the Mahabharata, as played by Samantha and Dev Mohan, respectively. The film also features a talented cast that includes Sachin Khedekar, Kabir Bedi, and Dr. Mohan Babu. Prakash Raj, Madhubala, Gautami, Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagalla, and Jisshu Sengupta Another addition to the cast is icon star Allu Arjun’s daughter, Allu Arha, who plays Prince Bharata.
Shaakuntalam is produced by Neelima Guna, written and directed by Gunasekhar, and presented by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations in collaboration with Gunaa Teamworks. The film was originally scheduled to be released on February 17, but it was then postponed. The film will now be released in theaters on April 14.
Samantha, in addition to Shaakuntalam, will soon be seen in the Citadel, led by Raj and DK. Varun Dhawan also plays the lead. Samantha has also been filming Kushi, a romantic drama starring Vijay Deverakonda.
