Aditya Chopra, the owner of Yashraj Films, intends to create a Lokesh Kanakaraj Universe-style spy universe for Bollywood. The producer, Yashraj Films, has made a major announcement in advance of Shah Rukh Khan’s movie “Pathan” which opens on January 25.
For years, Aditya Chopra had been working to turn Yash Raj Films into the biggest franchise in Indian film history. The actors who have appeared in Spy Universe films thus far include Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor.
It was introduced together with the Logo Pathan trailer. The “Tiger” series, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, and “War,” starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, are both part of Yash Raj Films’ “Spy Universe.”
With this, the foundation has been laid for future collaborations between Salman, Shahrukh, and Hrithik on significant projects. Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger’ series has two films. ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ in 2012 and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ in 2017. In the movies, Salman portrayed Raw Agent Tiger. Along with Salman, Katrina comes as another officer.
Tiger 3 is the next film. The movie, which is slated to enter theatres this year, will feature a cameo by Shahrukh Khan. In Tiger, Shahrukh will play Pathan, a RAW agent. In a similar manner, Salman will make a brief cameo appearance as Tiger, a RAW agent in Pathan.
War is a 2019 film directed by Siddharth Anand. War, starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, was also the highest grossing film of 2019. Hrithik Roshan played the role of Major Kabir, a raw agent in the film. Director Siddharth Anand is currently working on the sequel’s pre-production. The shooting of this movie will start this year.
