Sunny Leone: “I would like to rate myself as an ‘okay’ mom. I am quite a task master”

Sunny Leone discussed how she manages to balance parenting and her career in a recent interview. The actor admitted that while she enjoys spending time with her daughter Nisha and her boys, Asher and Noah, she has yet to be ready to care for three children at once. God’s plan “worked out for the best,” she says.

In 2011, Sunny Leone and Daniel Weber got married. Nisha, a daughter who was adopted in 2017, and Noah and Asher, twin boys who were born through surrogacy in 2018, are the couple’s children. Sunny frequently posts pictures from family trips, birthday parties, and other memorable events on social media.

Sunny explained about becoming a mother of three, “I did not plan motherhood for three children. Possibly, we were prepared for one thing at a time. Like a child for the time being, and possibly another one in a few years. However, it was never as if all three were present at once (laughs). I believe that was all part of God’s plan, and it turned out well. Well, it happened, and I adore it and am fine with it. I’d like to think of myself as an “okay” mother. I am a very strict taskmaster. I hope to raise them to be good human beings.”

Sunny added, “My kids are hopefully the citizens of the world. I’m teaching my kids to discover diverse cultures and traditions. Not just in India, but all throughout the world, we participate in as many festivities as we can. I believe it is my responsibility to introduce them to every festival I can and to help them participate in the events they enjoy most. I make an effort to teach my family and me as individuals about the significance of the holidays and the necessity of keeping particular customs. Festivals are not just about the party and the candy. It can’t just be about that.”

In 2012, Sunny, whose real name is Karenjit Kaur, made her acting debut in ‘Jism 2,’ a thriller directed by Pooja Bhatt. She has acted in films like ‘Mastizaade,’ ‘Ek Paheli Leela,’ ‘Ragini MMS 2,’ and ‘Jackpot.’ After more than ten years in the industry, Sunny is headed to Cannes with the new film ‘Kennedy,’ co-starring Rahul Bhat and directed by Anurag Kashyap. The famous festival’s Midnight Screening section will screen the movie.
