The trailer for the coming disaster drama ‘2018’ was released on Sunday by the makers. Jude Anthany Joseph wrote and directed the film, which is based on the disastrous Kerala floods that occurred in 2018. The floods had a tremendous influence on the Malayali people, uniting them in hope and power in the face of calamity.
Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali, Kalaiyarasan, Narain, Lal, Janardhanan, Indrans, Sudheesh, Aju Varghese, Thanvi Ram, Shivada, Gauthami Nair, and others play prominent roles in the film.
The photographer is Akhil George. The editing has been handled by Chaman Chakko. Nobin Paul has composed music and created an original score. Venu Kunnappilly, C. K. Padmakumar, and Anto Joseph are producing 2018 through their Kavya Film Company in collaboration with P. K. Prime Production.
