Telugu actor and comedian Allu Ramesh died of cardiac arrest in his birthplace of Visakhapatnam. The news was relayed on social media by director Anand Ravi, and it devastated many of his fans and colleagues. The late comedian was allegedly 52 years old.
Anand Ravi took to Facebook to share the heartbreaking news of Allu Ramesh’s demise. “You have been my biggest supporter since day one,” he added. In my thoughts, I can still hear your voice. Ramesh Garu, I’m still trying to process your death. You’ve impacted so many people’s hearts, including mine. I’m missing you. “Oh, shanti.”
Allu Ramesh began his acting career with stage appearances. Following that, he made his Tollywood debut in Tarun’s ‘Chirujallu’ and went on to appear in around 50 films. He rose to prominence with roles in films such as ‘Napoleon’ and ‘Tholubommalata.’
As a comedian, the actor appeared in a number of Telugu films. Despite his limited screen time, he became well-known for his distinct coastal accent. Napoleon, Tholubommalata, Madhura Wines, and Ravana Desam were among the films in which Allu Ramesh appeared. Ramesh went on to appear in other popular and successful films during his two-decade career, most recently in Rajendra Prasad’s Anukoni Prayanam.
In addition to films, he worked in television. He was most recently seen in the show ‘Maa Vidakula,’ where he played the actress’ father.
