Thalapathy 67: Actors Vijay, Trisha, and others attend a pooja ceremony prior to the start of filming. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directed film will reunite Vijay with co-star Trisha after 14 years.
Following the official announcement of actor Vijay’s upcoming Tamil film titled ‘Thalapathy 67,’ the film’s makers held a pooja ahead of the film’s shoot. They recently released the final cast list for the film.
The film also marks the reunion of Lokesh Kanagaraj with Vijay after ‘Master.’ The film’s crew released a new video in which Trisha Krishnan and Vijay appeared together for the first time in a long time. Previously, the two worked together on films such as Ghilli and Thirupaachi. Fans were overjoyed to see Trisha and Vijay together in a film after such a long time.
Trisha wore a beige saree to the pooja ceremony, while Vijay wore a dark olive-green shirt with denim pants. In addition to them, actors Arjun Sarja, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Priya Anand attended the event.
The film’s first scheduled shoot will take place in Kashmir, and the film’s crew recently left for their first schedule. The film consisted of many prominent actors from the film industry. Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mathew Thomas, and Mansoor Ali Khan are among them.
As per director Lokesh, ‘Thalapathy 67’ will be a gangster film. He recently revealed that the film will not be part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). Lokesh clarified the rumors at the trailer launch event for the recently released Tamil film, Laththi. “I can’t talk about the project right now,” he said. But I can assure you that it will not be a part of the universe. It’ll be a gangster film, and it will be one of the most significant releases in the Tamil film industry.
