The Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan, turns 49 today

Hrithik Roshan currently prioritizes peace, happiness, and contentment in his life. And, for the actor, who is currently working on his next film, Fighter, age is nothing more than a number. He’s 49 today, and he’s more vocal than ever about the man behind the star everyone knows.

“I used to think of it as a fun day, but somewhere along the way it became a chore, a duty, and I felt like I must celebrate, must party, and birthdays became slightly uncomfortable. But now I see it as an opportunity to spend time doing things that will make me happy. I may still do the same things, but it’s out of desire and fulfilment rather than a self-imposed mandate,” he said.

Hrithik talked about the biggest lesson he has learned during these years as “That peace is not the pinnacle to strive for; it is not at the top of the pyramid, which we hope to reach someday after all the hard work has been completed. Or hope to get there at the end of the day. It is, in fact, the very foundation and base of everything and every action in every moment. We must begin with peace. The initial state of being should be one of peace. That is the current practice.”

Sussanne Khan wished actor and ex-husband Hrithik Roshan a happy birthday via Instagram. She posted a video of beautiful photos from their outings and vacations. The video also featured their sons, Hridaan and Hrehaan Roshan. Hrithik’s girlfriend, Saba Azad, also wished him with adorable pictures. She also left him a touching message.

Hrithik’s father, veteran director-actor Rakesh Roshan, sent the most personal message by   posting a photo of himself and his son wearing matching black leather jackets and T-shirts. Rakesh Roshan said in the caption, “Duggu.” Happy birthday, my favourite Sun. Continue to spread your light and warmth. Blessings and Love,” he added, along with heart and sun emojis. Fans of the actor have also wished him in the post’s comments section.

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan’s next film will be “Fighter,” in which he will co-star with Deepika Padukone. Siddharth Anand, who directed Hrithik’s last big release, War, which also starred Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor, will direct the film. Hrithik Roshan was most recently seen in Vikram Vedha alongside Saif Ali Khan. The film is a remake of the Tamil film of the same name, and it received universal acclaim for him.
