The well-known Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas always draws attention from a wider audience, and his most recent film, ‘Thallumaala,’ was a huge success. However, the busy actor hasn’t had a release in the last six months, which has increased fans anticipation for his upcoming project. The most recent information indicates that Tovino Thomas’s next two films want to debut in April. Aashiq Abu’s “Neelavelicham,” starring Tovino Thomas, and Jude Anthany Joseph’s “2018,” starring a large cast, have both finished production and are currently going through intense post-production. Both movies’ creators apparently hope to have a theatrical debut in April to coincide with Vishu and Eid.
On April 14, Neelavelicham is scheduled to be launched in honor of Vishu, and a week later, “2018,” in preparation for Eid. Tovino Thomas will therefore have two releases in the next two weeks. The respective producers have yet to confirm the dates for the release of either movie. But, given that the release dates of several blockbusters have already been set for this April, it is possible that one or more of Tovino Thomas’s aforementioned films will be postponed.
According to reports, “Neelavelicham” is a romantic-horror drama with Tovino Thomas, Rima Kallingal, and Roshan Mathew in the key roles. Tovino Thomas plays the lead role in the catastrophe thriller movie “2018,” which also stars Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Narain Ram, and Vineeth Sreenivasan and is based on the 2018 Kerala floods.
