Urfi Javed, who was on a trip to the UAE, was reportedly detained in Dubai for allegedly filming a video in public while wearing a revealing outfit, which is not permitted in the country. According to the report, Uorfi, who is known for her unique fashion choices, is currently being questioned by authorities in Dubai.

Urfi had reportedly recently flown to the United Arab Emirates for the shoot of one of her upcoming projects and had been there for more than a week. She has been posting videos and photos from her trip, in which she has dressed in a variety of unusual outfits. According to a new report, Uorfi was being questioned by Dubai police after filming a video ‘in an open area’ while wearing something that was not ‘allowed’ to be shot in public.
According to an ETimes report, there was ‘no problem’ in Uorfi’s outfit. According to the report, she was being interrogated by authorities in Dubai because she shot the video in an open area. It was also stated that the UAE authorities may postpone Uorfi’s return flight to India.

Urfi was recently seen on Splitsvilla X4, a dating reality show hosted by Sunny Leone and Arjun Bijlani. She also drew attention for her show outfits. Uorfi was also in the news last month after author Chetan Bhagat claimed that she was distracting the country’s youth, particularly boys. She had responded to Chetan’s remark by calling him a “pervert,” and she had also shared screenshots of alleged WhatsApp messages from Chetan that were leaked in 2018, during the MeToo movement.

Previously, Urfi was in legal trouble over a music video in which she wore an orange saree, among other outfits, according to reports. She appeared in the remake of Zeenat Aman’s popular song Haye Haye Yeh Majboori. On October 11, the song’s music video was released. Following the release of the video, a complaint was reportedly filed against Uorfi in Delhi for ‘publishing or transmitting material containing sexually explicit acts.”
