YouTube sensation PewDiePie has been banned from Twitch, Amazon’s famous streaming platform

Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, one of YouTube’s most prominent and entertaining creators, has been banned from his Infinite Stream Twitch channel as of May 8.

While the precise cause of the ban is unknown, it is worth noting that PewDiePie is not primarily a Twitch streamer. His unexpected reappearance on the popular streaming site on March 21 left many wondering if his account had been hacked. The replay of outdated programming, including whole episodes of Trailer Park Boys, caused much consternation and concern. CoPilotMedia later revealed that they had taken over the channel and were restreaming previous programming.

The Swedish celebrity’s Twitch channel has subsequently been deactivated. His account also states, “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s community guidelines or terms of service.”

It’s unclear whether this is a temporary ban or a permanent account deletion. In any case, it appears unlikely that PewDiePie will prioritize correcting the situation on Twitch. He’s more focused on his YouTube content.

The removal of the most popular YouTuber from Twitch has caused quite a commotion. Many of his fans are curious as to why he was banned and whether he will address the issue publicly. Given his previous controversies, it’s not surprising that his large fan base is interested in the latest news.

This current Twitch ban is guaranteed to re-ignite the debate over PewDiePie’s previous issues. Some fans have already flocked to social media to defend him, while others believe the suspension was completely deserved.

It’s worth mentioning that PewDiePie’s YouTube channel is unaffected by the restriction. He is one of the platform’s most popular tier 1 content creators, with over 110 million subscribers. His videos have received billions of views, and his impact has spawned countless trends and memes.
